First hair cut

You knew it was going to happen, I held out as long as I could, but when the back was starting to look like a mullet and her hair was getting in her eyes. It was time to break out the scissors.  Plus she is already 3 months old, how long did you think I could wait?
We took her to the salon, sat her in the bumbo chair, in front of the mirror and she was set.

I cut the back to match her sides and then I did go through and do some layers, so more of her little wave would show. Then I trimmed her bangs, and barely trimmed the top. She has lots of new hair growing in, also she had really long and really short pieces, this should help them all blend as they grow out. I hope we can go another 6 months without cutting it, so it can fill in and still be somewhat even, I guess we'll see.
She didn't seem to mind, and I guess was a little bored, since she was yawning. My friend was taking pictures and she messed with the settings and the color is off in the rest of these pictures, but you get the point.
The finished project. I know she isn't smiling but she does love it I can tell.
This picture is a little on the light side but it shows how it looks now, Karst didn't want me to do it at first, but then agreed it looked better. I know it will grow back quickly.

See she still has all her curls, it just doesn't look crazy.

You are spoiled. Kirsten is 2 1/2 and is just now able to put 2 piggies in without the elastic falling out. Charlee is so cute. She is getting so big too. Enjoy! Hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day.

Ha ha! That is so great and she looks so cute! Addie never had enough hair to cut.. in fact she is almost 3 and hasnt had it cut yet but still doesnt have a lot. Oh well...She is growing so fast, I cant believe she is already 3 months.

OMG. It doesn't get any more precious than that! Charlee is such a doll. I'm so jealous of your ability to cut hair--in my opinion, that definitely adds points for you and the Mother of the Year award! ...AND that you already got to do it at 3 months old! We're a 2+ yr family when it comes to the kids' cuts.

I love that she looks like Boo from Monster's Inc in that last photo - she's a sweetheart.

I cannot believe how much hair she has!!! Love the curls and the pigtails—they remind me of Cindy-Loo Who from the Dr. Seuss cartoon :)

What a dawl face...look at all her little ponies. See if she can still have ponies, life is good. Love all of her beautiful hair.

What a cutie. I can't believe how much hair she has. I don't think Ben had a haircut until he was 18 months. Hahaha

Cute cute hair! My little 2 month old has just about lost every bit of sweet red hair she was born with... except for the mullet in back.

I love to see little CA with hair. So cute. So much cuter than the bald/mullet.
