Fred is so lucky to have us as housemates, and we are lucky that she let's us live in her house. Because I am allergic to cats, and I don't like cat hair around. We bath Fred. She pretends she doesn't like it, but I think deep down she does.
If she hears the bath water running you can never find her so we are always having to think of new ways to get her in there. Karst grabs her feet and puts her in the water, we have a rubber bath mat for her so she can dig her claws in that. He holds her down and I soap and rinse her and then we grab a towel and roll her in it.
It usually takes her a few hours to dry, and then we comb her and get a lot of the hair. Once she is dry she is so soft and smells like bubble gum. And everyone goes on being happy. I am sure she knows I am talking about her and is planning some revenge. But I know where the cat treats are so I can always win in the end.

I give my cat a bath to she does not like it but she gets one once a week. Great to know I am know I am not crazy other people do it to. :)
